Rachel Coad School of Dance has been established since the year 2000 and is based in Darlington. Students are accepted from the age of 2 years old (toilet trained) to adult. Classes are catered for people with all abilities.

Students follow The British Theatre Dance Association syllabus and have the option of taking exams. The dance school prides itself with an excellence in exam results.

The school holds a hugely anticipated, successful annual show every February with all students having the option of taking part.

Competitions, summer school (including summer show) and various productions around the north east are available to take part in.
